Joe Schock has over 20 years of experience in the Healing Arts. He has worked at some of the most prestigious treatment facilities in Los Angeles. Joe began his career in mental health at Cedar Sinai Thalians unit while completing his education in chemical dependency at the UCLA Extension Program, He continued this work at Promises, Exodus, and Clearview treatment centers before starting his private practice and founding Casa Vista, a men’s transitional living facility in Venice Beach, Ca. Joe uses his experience and heart-centered approach to meet clients wherever they may be in their healing process, helping to define and personalize a recovery plan, incorporating alternative methods of healing with time tested and proven modalities. Whether hiking the Inca trail, meditating on the Ganga River, or participating in a seminar, Joe continues his education with the intention of continuing to make a difference.

  • My name is Steven Luciano, I'm a recovering addict & alcoholic. I started working with Joe shortly after I completing a 6 month residential treatment commitment, roughly 7-8 years ago. Joe helped me to come off Suboxone which I had been prescribed 3 years earlier. Joe has a way of meeting people where "they" are at and creating trust through listening, consistently showing up AND treating people with respect. Joe also challenged me and backed it up with a sincere belief that I could do anything, he believed in me. He comes to the table with a world of knowledge about Addiction,Alcoholism, Depression, Trauma, failure to launch and a host of other solutions & experience.   • Addiction runs in our families and our son Austin, undeservedly, was hit with this unfortunate trait.
